Ruth Z. Mustian
Ruth Z. Mustian is responsible for curriculum development for Leadership Orlando, America's largest community leadership program, creating opportunities for its participants to observe, interact with and learn from public, private and independent sector leaders across Central Florida. With nearly 200 business and community leaders enrolled annually, the high-energy learning through hands-on experiences builds relationships that will last a lifetime. Additionally, she is responsible for developing content and publishing Every Monday, a weekly electronic newsletter distributed to over 10,000 individuals throughout the seven-county region.
For over forty years, she has built her career and played a significant role with Leadership Orlando for ten pivotal years (1987-1997), garnering national recognition for volunteers and staff. She has also been integrally involved in such cutting-edge programs as WorldClass Schools – a public education reform effort; WorkForce 2020 – an innovative initiative to address the challenges faced by entry-level workers; and myregion.org – a regional development program designed to elevate Central Florida's standing in the global marketplace.
She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando and Leadership Central Florida as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management.
Danielle Permenter develops and maintains relationships with the Central Florida business community through recruiting business and community leaders, from all seven counties of Central Florida, to enroll in America’s largest community leadership program, Leadership Orlando.
Danielle also leads and supports the Central Florida Young Professional Advisory Council and the Orlando, Inc., membership and sponsorship team, where she plays a role in developing innovative programming for members to connect, engage and grow.
Prior work experience includes three years with the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Outreach team where managed membership marketing and internal revenue support.
In a volunteer role, Danielle sits on the Governing Body of Athena PowerLink, a non-profit focused on helping women expand their businesses.
Raised in Orlando, Danielle is a graduate of Florida State University.
Lisa Winkelbauer plans and coordinates all the logistical details for each monthly Leadership Orlando session, taking our class members across the seven-county Central Florida Region. She is actively involved with the redesign and development of the ever-changing regional curriculum of Leadership Orlando to reflect our vibrant community.
During her 20 years with the organization, Lisa has been responsible for the coordination of signature programs like the annual Partnership Trip to Washington, D.C., the Partnership Trip to Tallahassee and the Central Florida Political Leadership Institute.
Lisa previously worked for Walt Disney World Community Relations, Detroit Pistons Community Relations and the Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, working with Leadership Osceola County.
A native of Central Florida, Lisa is a graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 62.
