On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, a coalition of eight Central Florida Chambers of Commerce, including the Apopka Area, East Orlando, Hispanic, Orlando, Inc., (Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce), Oviedo-Winter Springs, Seminole County Regional, West Orange and Winter Park, will travel to Tallahassee for a first hand experience of our state democracy in action. This overnight trip will include a private reception with legislators, legislative briefings, media commentary, and networking with members from Chambers of Commerce across Central Florida.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable insight about issues impacting your business and Florida's economy, such as Connect Us - High Speed Rail for Florida, healthcare and job creation.

12:30 p.m.	Buses arrive at Hotel Duval in Tallahassee, FL Lunch at Hotel Duval Program includes Welcome Remarks and Comments by Honorary Chair Senator Lee Constantine Invited Guest Speaker Mark Wilson, President Florida Chamber of Commerce
2:00 –2:15 p.m.	Buses depart Hotel Duval and arrive at State Capitol Building
2:30-3:15 p.m.	House Legislative Report
3:15-4:00 p.m.	Senate Legislative Report
4:15 p.m.	Bus pick-up at Capitol and depart for Hotel check-in at Wingate and Fairfield Inn Hotels.
5:15 p.m.	Buses depart for Private Reception at The Governor’s Club

9:15 a.m.	Buses depart from University Center Club for Capitol
9:30-11:30 a.m.	Guided Tour of the Senate Chambers with one of our Legislators, or Viewing of the Senate and/or House of Representatives if in session, Visit with your legislators (make appointments before the trip).
11:30 a.m.	Meet on the 4th floor of the Rotunda at the Capitol for Group Photo.
12:15 p.m.	Buses depart Capitol for Capitol City Country Club.
12:30 p.m.	Arrive at Capitol City Country Club for lunch. Invited Guest Speaker: Governor Charlie Crist
1:30 p.m.	Buses depart for Orlando
5:00 p.m.	Buses arrive at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Family Life Center.
