Week Two Tallahassee Legislative Update

Week two of Florida's Legislative Session was very productive, according to Florida Representative Steve Crisafulli (District 51), who provides an update from the House Floor on this week's work from Tallahassee. Representative Crisafulli reports on bills dealing with efficiency in spending, protecting the children of Florida, and major gathering of Florida tourism representatives in the Capital.

Our second video update comes from Florida Senator Kelli Stargel (District 15) who provides an update on SB-668 which authorizes direct receipt of merchandise under certain circumstances; specifying a cap on the redemption value of points or coupons; requiring the Department of Revenue to calculate annually an adjusted cap; requiring the department to publish the amount of the adjusted cap in a brochure accessible from its website, etc.

Each week, Orlando, Inc. will showcase a member of our Central Florida Legislative Delegation, reporting on the work of our representatives in Tallahassee. For an archive of previous week reports and other video Orlando, Inc. videos, click here.
