A Tool for Central Florida Entrepreneurs – eConnection Florida – was announced at The B.I.G. Summit last week. This new social network will allow entrepreneurs in Central Florida to connect and to get business advice and direction from other entrepreneurs and experts.
This new service is a collaborative project of committed organizations to support the growth of new and existing businesses and to foster entrepreneurship, including:
Disney Entrepreneur Center
Florida High Tech Corridor Council, Inc.
ORLANDO, INC., Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce
Rollins Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship
University of Central Florida
How does eConnection Florida help you and your business? eConnection Florida provides three powerful services to members. The first is the Entrepreneur’s Forum where members can post questions and get answers on important business topics. The second is the Professional Profile, where members can build their profile and benefit from the exposure created through the network and also on the web via search engine optimization. Third is the ability to connect with other members to build professional networks, re-connect with existing colleagures and find new business relationships.
eConnection Florida is available to Central Florida entrepreneurs free of charge. All you need to do to get started is visit www.econnectionflorida.com and sign up. The first step is to create your Professional Profile as you would on any other social networking site.
In announcing the site at The B.I.G. Summit, Leslie Hielema, President of ORLANDO, INC., Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce said, “This exciting new tool for entrepreneurs is available beginning today. I encourage you to check it out so that we can continue the important dialog that began today at The B.I.G. Summit!”
